This weekend, 7, 8 and 9 November, Barão de São João once again becomes a meeting point for art, nature and community with a new edition of the Walk & Art Fest — an event that combines hiking, exhibitions and cultural activities, celebrating the connection between creativity, landscape and well-being.
Organised by Associação Almargem, with the support of the Municipality of Lagos and the Union of Parishes of Bensafrim and Barão de São João, the festival invites everyone to discover the region’s natural and artistic heritage in a sustainable and inspiring way.
Over three days, the streets and trails of Barão de São João come to life through art installations, themed walks, creative workshops and social gatherings. It’s a unique opportunity to rediscover this charming village, where art merges with nature and the local community warmly welcomes visitors from all around.
At the heart of the village, CoLagos Barão de São João shares the same creative and peaceful energy that defines the area. Surrounded by nature and local authenticity, this coworking space embodies the balance between work, inspiration and quality of life — values that also resonate with the spirit of this festival.
