DevFest 2025 is coming to the Algarve on October 17 and 18, bringing the energy and inspiration of the world’s largest community-led tech conference, organized by the Google Developer Groups Lagos (GDG Lagos). The event brings together developers, entrepreneurs, digital nomads, and innovation enthusiasts to explore cutting-edge development tools, learn from experts, and strengthen local tech communities.
This year’s edition is themed “Building Safe, Secure and Scalable Solutions with AI and Cloud”, highlighting the practical integration of Artificial Intelligence and Google Cloud in innovative, scalable, and ethically sound solutions.
On October 17, the program will focus on secondary schools, with workshops designed to inspire and engage young students with the technologies of the future. On October 18, the event opens to the wider community, inviting participants from various fields to join this celebration of technology.
As a warm-up, CoLagos Barão de São João will host a meetup on October 10, an evening of networking that brings together participants and the tech and entrepreneurial community from Portimão, Loulé, Olhão, Faro, Tavira, and Lagos.
