Grow Algarve Meetup kicks off 2026 with a new edition in Lagos, reinforcing the dynamism of the region’s entrepreneurial community. The event will take place at Barbosa Bar & Kitchen, in a relaxed and welcoming setting designed to encourage the sharing of ideas, the creation of connections, and the strengthening of the local ecosystem.

Barão de São João is preparing to celebrate one of the most special moments of the season with the 5th Christmas Market and the Community Christmas Tree, initiatives promoted by the Cultural Centre of Barão de São João.

This coming Sunday, 30 November, CoLagos in Barão de São João will host another creative activity designed especially for the local community: the “Punch Needle” workshop, led by Dokreats, well-known for her handcrafted work and the inspiring way she shares this textile technique.

This weekend, 7, 8 and 9 November, Barão de São João once again becomes a meeting point for art, nature and community with a new edition of the Walk & Art Fest — an event that combines hiking, exhibitions and cultural activities, celebrating the connection between creativity, landscape and well-being.

DevFest 2025 is coming to the Algarve on October 17 and 18, bringing the energy and inspiration of the world’s largest community-led tech conference, organized by the Google Developer Groups Lagos (GDG Lagos). The event brings together developers, entrepreneurs, digital nomads, and innovation enthusiasts to explore cutting-edge development tools, learn from experts, and strengthen local tech communities.

On September 30th, CoLagos Barão de São João will open its doors to a creative and inspiring activity: the Workshop “The Art of Natural Incense”, led by Márcia Rodrigues, creator of the Handmade Natural project and a native of the village.

On July 24, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., come disconnect from stress and reconnect with yourself in a Pilates After Work class with Raquel Rodrigues, on our terrace in Barão de São João – overlooking the greenery and silence of nature.
